Hello everyone, and welcome to my blog!

I’m Malte. I studied engineering and did my PhD on the evolution and spread of antimicrobial resistance, both in the lab and with math. I love data and I’m curious about a lot of things: epidemiology, politics, economics, climate science and more.

This blog is for two things. First, sharing findings I find interesting and testing a hypothesis here and there. Second, documenting the methods behind the YouTube channel I’m working on.
